This is a Temporary Position. No benefits are offered. Hours worked Hours paid.
Duration 3 months
•Second shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (30 minute lunch) + Overtime
Qualifications:
• 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 7 years related experience in a MANUFACTURING FACILITY
• Successfully completed Electrical Apprenticeship Program or graduate of a certified technical school and achieved Journeyman status.
• Experience with industrial HVAC systems and switch gear.
• Trained on NFPA 70E, Aerial Lift / Boom lift Certified.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and building equipment. Connects power supply wires to machines and building equipment, connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires, cables, and fuses.
• Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, sensors, motors, and positions sensing devices. • Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasking on electrical and mechanical equipment.
