Our client is a well-established SaaS company with engineering teams in multiple locations. As a result of their business growth, they are currently hiring talented senior technology professionals to join their fast growing engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Job

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing team of software engineers. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting technical direction, mentoring team members, and driving impactful results that align with our overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 talented software engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Optimize resource allocation and team structure to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Oversee code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help engineers grow in their careers.

Guide technical decision-making and ensure the highest standards of code quality and engineering best practices.

Effectively manage stakeholder relationships, including product managers, designers, and business leaders, to ensure successful project delivery.

Demonstrate strong business ownership by aligning team goals with overall company objectives and driving impactful results.

Ideal Candidate

You have 8-15 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong technical foundation.

You are proficient in one or more of the following languages: Ruby, PHP, Python, or Java, and open to working with/learning Ruby as part of your role.

You have proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.

You demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with business objectives, including experience with budget negotiation and effective stakeholder management.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong focus on clear and concise communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
