Location: Brooklyn, NY

Salary: $95,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a talented Information Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an expert in IT security, you will play a critical role in assessing security risks, acting on privacy breaches, and ensuring our systems remain safe from malware and other threats. This position is ideal for someone with a background in IT security, a passion for emerging technologies, and the ability to implement best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks.

- Respond to privacy breaches and malware threats.

- Identify and implement new security technologies and best practices.

- Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.

- Monitor security events and triage alerts across various platforms.

- Conduct vulnerability testing and risk assessments.

- Manage, support, and deploy anti-virus solutions.

- Serve as a security expert and provide training as needed.

- Draft information security policies and guidelines.

- Assist in other areas of Corporate Services and IT when required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 2-5 years of technical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment within the automotive industry, or equivalent education and experience.

- Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional relationships.

- Excellent project management, computer, analytical, and written communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.

- Willingness to work varying hours and overtime as needed.

- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Specialized Skills & Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of computer networks, security, hardware, and software.

- Proficient in computer application development and implementation.

- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- SAP system experience preferred.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
