Cyber Security Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will assess security risks, respond to privacy breaches, and act on emerging threats. You will play a key part in integrating new security technologies, conducting vulnerability testing, and helping ensure the company's overall security posture. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks.

- Act on privacy breaches and malware threats.

- Identify and implement new security technologies and best practices.

- Stay informed about emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.

- Monitor events and triage alerts across various security platforms.

- Conduct vulnerability testing and risk analyses.

- Manage antivirus support and deployment.

- Serve as a security expert and provide training when needed.

- Draft information security policies and guidelines.

- Assist other IT and Corporate Services teams as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 2-5 years of technical experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional relationships.

- Excellent project management, computer, and analytical skills.

- Ability to maintain highly confidential information.

- Willingness to work varying hours and overtime when necessary.

- Ability to exercise independent judgment in business decisions.

Specialized Skills:

- Knowledge of computer networks, security, hardware, and software applications.

- Experience in computer application development and implementation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- SAP system experience preferred.

- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
