Seeking a Full time Staff Cytotechnologist opening to join an expanding Pathology/Cytology lab.

What You’ll Be Doing
Overseeing microscopic evaluation of non-gyn and gyn cytology specimens
Leading quality control, improvement initiatives, and compliance procedures
Providing guidance to lab assistants and ensuring accurate specimen preparation
Managing equipment, stains, and reagents for optimal function
Writing and reviewing processing procedures to enhance department efficiency
Monitoring department quality using statistical data and direct observations
Educating and mentoring staff to uphold excellence in patient care
About You
Be able to do the job as described
ASCP-certified Cytotechnologist with a BS degree in biological sciences
5+ years of cytotechnology experience with expertise in gyn and non-gyn specimens, including FNA (thyroid, pancreas, lymph node)
2+ years of supervisory experience in a Cytology lab
Skilled in decision-making, quality assurance, and process improvement
Strong communicator with a passion for mentoring and teamwork.
