Plastics Machine Operator

Advantage Personnel is looking for Plastics Machine Operators to work for a successful company in Lincoln, NE that has been locally owned and operated for nearly 50 yrs. Their employees have an average of 15 years of service, and they provide a laid-back working environment. Hours are Monday through Thursday 2 pm-midnight with potential overtime on Friday. Starting pay is $17-$19/hr. Once hired on by client, a full benefit package, including but not limited to health, dental, and vision insurance, matching 401K, and life insurance are offered.

Plastics Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Continually load raw material in the machine, monitor the job’s progress and be watchful for imperfections

• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and set up of machine

• Read and understand customers’ requirements from job ticket

• Pack product for shipment

• Complete paperwork

• Communicate well with other employees

Plastics Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must have previous machine operating experience

• Standing for 8 hours per day

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions

• Perform basic math skills

• Ability to show up to work on time everyday
