Position Overview
Join Voice Up as an AI Mental Health & Research Intern, conducting comprehensive analysis and providing first-hand user experience insights into artificial intelligence applications designed for mental and behavioral health support. This role involves systematic evaluation of AI mental health tools while considering ethical implications, user experience, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify current AI mental health applications
- Test and evaluate AI mental health tools firsthand
- Document user experience and accessibility
- Analyze benefits and limitations of each platform
- Assess privacy and ethical considerations
- Participate in weekly Saturday afternoon collaborative sessions with our nationwide team of student leaders
- Create detailed evaluation reports
- Develop recommendations for improvement
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university
- Strong understanding of mental health concepts
- Experience with technology evaluation
- Excellence in analytical thinking
