Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join our client’s New York office. This role involves structuring, negotiating, and executing complex M&A and leveraged finance transactions for a leading firm in the finance sector. The ideal candidate has strong financial analysis skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

M&A & Leveraged Finance Transactions

️ Structure, negotiate, and execute mergers, acquisitions, and leveraged finance deals

️ Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and deal strategy development

️ Draft and review legal documentation, term sheets, and transaction agreements

Client Advisory & Relationship Management

️ Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on transaction structures and regulatory considerations

️ Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and execution

️ Stay informed on market trends, legal developments, and industry best practices

Due Diligence & Compliance

️ Manage due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors

️ Collaborate with legal, compliance, and financial teams to mitigate risks and ensure smooth deal execution

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certifications

️ Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree (Required)

️ Bar Admission in New York (Preferred)

Experience & Skills

️ 3–7 years of experience in M&A and leveraged finance (Law Firm, Investment Bank, or Financial Institution)

️ Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise

️ Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

️ Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
