Hiring: Class A CDL Driver

Location: Davenport, IA

Pay: $1,350 – $1,550 per week (Guaranteed) Solo: $1,350 Team: $1,550

Job Overview:

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking Class A CDL Drivers for a flexible OTR position with one of our clients covering various routes. This role primarily involves team driving (90% of the time), with some solo runs. Drivers will experience weekly home time, competitive pay, and a stable schedule.

Schedule & Routes:

Workweek: Monday – Friday (mostly night shifts)

Home Time:

Team Drivers: Home for 4–5 hours between runs, with full weekend home time

Solo Runs: Occasionally required, with daily home time

Main Routes:

Primarily big city routes, including Chicago

Flex drivers cover various assignments as needed

Pay & Guarantees:

Solo Route Guarantee: $1,350 per week

Team Route Guarantee: $1,550 per week (90% of assignments)

Job Requirements:

️ Valid Class A CDL with Doubles Endorsement (or willingness to obtain)

️ 1+ year CDL experience (up to 25 years accepted)

️ Safe Driving Record:

No tickets in the last 12 months

No more than 3 tickets in the last 3 years

No DUIs in the last 5 years

No recent accidents, terminations for safety, or failed drug tests (ever)

️ Comfortable with:

Big city driving (Chicago and other metro areas)

Assist unloading (crates & pallets)
