Job Description:

We seek a Senior Cloud Architect with 14+ years of experience in designing and architecting complex integration projects across API Gateway, Microservices, Event Driven Architecture, and Cloud Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design cloud native solutions leveraging AWS, containers (EKS, OpenShift), and PaaS platforms.

Lead API development, API Gateway architecture, and ensure governance frameworks are enforced.

Define and oversee non functional requirements (NFRs) to meet API standards, security, scalability, and performance.

Design and implement event driven architectures using Kafka/Pulsar messaging technologies.

Guide technical teams in selecting and implementing Microservices frameworks (Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, Scala/Akka).

Evaluate trade offs between different API & Microservices options based on project requirements.

Design and optimize AWS based cloud solutions, ensuring security, scalability, and performance.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools.

Ensure best practices in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Lead technical solution proposals, including effort estimation, resource planning, and architecture recommendations

Work with stakeholders to define API policies, security models, and best practices for enterprise grade cloud solutions.

Provide architectural guidance for banking, financial services, and card based solutions.

Ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards and security best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

14+ years of experience in cloud architecture, API development, and enterprise integration.

At least 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud and containerization technologies.

Hands on experience in the financial and cards domain is a strong plus.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Expertise in AWS cloud solutions (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate preferred).

Hands on experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, PaaS platforms).

Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Experience in API Gateway, API governance, API policies, and security.

Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Scala/Akka frameworks.

Hands on experience with designing and developing event driven architectures.

Strong expertise in Apache Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.

Ability to define NFRs, optimize API performance, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

Experience in proposal writing, technical solutioning, and estimation.
