Pete & Son's Vehicle Transport is an automotive logistics company specializing in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions, and Dealer Vehicle Storage.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver (General) to join our team in Wingfield, SA 5013. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various destinations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive heavy trucks for the transport of goods.

• Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, including performing routine maintenance and safety checks.

• Load and unload goods as needed, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation.

• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations, maintaining a high standard of driving.

• Keep accurate logs of routes, mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries.

• Assist with route planning and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Truck Driver’s license (appropriate class for the vehicle).

• Proven experience as a Truck Driver (General) or similar role.

• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and punctuality.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading goods.

• Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

• Ability to adapt to varying road and weather conditions.

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
