A Warehouse Lister is responsible for accurately cataloging and listing inventory items in a warehouse or distribution center. They play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations by ensuring that all items are properly documented and organized for easy retrieval. The Warehouse Lister may also assist in other warehouse tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Listing: Accurately record and list all incoming and outgoing inventory items, including their descriptions, quantities, conditions, and locations.

Data Entry: Utilize inventory management software and tools to input and update item details, ensuring data accuracy.

Organization: Maintain an organized and systematic layout for inventory items within the warehouse, making it easy to locate and retrieve products.

Quality Control: Inspect and assess the condition of items, report any damages or discrepancies, and conduct periodic quality checks.

Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory levels, item conditions, and transaction history. Generate reports as needed.

Stock Replenishment: Notify supervisors when stock levels are running low and assist in restocking items as necessary.

Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse personnel, including pickers, packers, and shippers, to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders.

Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, such as using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety guidelines, to prevent accidents and injuries.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on inventory-related equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and report any issues to maintenance staff.

Efficiency Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.

Proficiency in using inventory management software and data entry.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills for collaboration with other team members.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.

Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them.

Organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Optional Qualifications:

Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
