Role Overview

As a Senior Python Developer, your mission will be to:

Key Responsibilities

Software Development: Architect, develop, and maintain Python-driven applications, APIs, and microservices.

Leadership: Conduct code reviews, set technical direction, and encourage team development.

Architecture: Create secure, scalable, and maintainable system architectures.

Problem-Solving: Devise creative solutions to complex challenges.

Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, product, and data teams for seamless project delivery.

Documentation: Ensure detailed documentation of systems, processes, and code.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

15+ years in software development, with a minimum of 10 years specialising in Python.

Expertise in Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB/Redis) databases.

Hands-on work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks.

Active participation in open-source projects or developer communities.

Understanding of Agile and Scrum workflows.
