The Head of HR ensures the company adheres to all legal standards while maintaining a high-performance HR function. This role focuses on compliance, employee relations, and HR process improvements to mitigate risks and create a sustainable work environment.
Responsibilities:
Compliance Oversight: Ensure company practices align with legal and regulatory requirements, conducting audits and risk assessments.
HR Process Optimization: Streamline HR processes, from recruitment to employee exit, ensuring efficiency and legal compliance.
Employee Relations & Investigations: Manage employee grievances, conduct internal investigations, and mediate disputes.
Training & Compliance Programs: Develop training programs on compliance topics such as workplace safety, harassment prevention, and labor laws.
Compensation & Compliance: Oversee payroll administration, ensure compensation aligns with employment laws, and manage benefit packages.
Workplace Safety: Lead occupational safety initiatives and work closely with the safety department to ensure a safe work environment.
Document Management: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, ensuring data protection.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Law, or a related field.
25+ years of HR and compliance experience.
Strong understanding of labor laws, health & safety regulations, and compliance auditing.
Excellent negotiation, mediation, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
