In 2025, Sandstorm will be strategically focusing on updating its platform and bringing necessary updates to allow its current users to do more, and drive greater adoption of the Free and Open Source Sandstorm platform. Examples of key strategic goals in 2025 include:
1. One click install - make sandstorm available in popular marketplaces like Digital Ocean to allow users to quickly and easily install sandstorm on their server to deploy apps
2. Rewrite of the Sandcats dynamic DNS service, which simplifies the installation of Sandstorm
3. Tempest - Our new and “next-gen” thing that will revolutionize the sandstorm platform; join us to build our next golang-based successor to sandstorm!
4. Apps! Sandstorm thrives on its app market. We’re always welcoming new apps, or Sandstorm ports of our favorite existing web apps. Apps should be small and simple. Sandstorm takes care of authentication and other security concerns.
To help achieve the Sandstorm project’s priorities for 2025, we are seeking individuals with the following skills (great opp to refine new skills!):

* Experience with DNS, setting up and managing certs (with auto-renew), cloudflare workers, and more
