This job demands a robust background in project management, partnership building, and effective communication. Proficiency in writing reports in both English and Bangla, along with an understanding of gender-sensitive climate resilience and local governance, is crucial. The role also requires the ability to balance multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a sense of responsibility and confidentiality. Daily responsibilities include supervising and managing project field personnel and activities, engaging with stakeholders, overseeing project progress, ensuring timely compliance, and managing resources efficiently.
Educational Requirements: A minimum requirement is a degree from a recognized university, either domestic or international. Preference will be given to candidates with majors in Climate Change, Environment, Disaster Management, Development Studies, or Women & Gender Studies.
Experience Requirement: Candidates must have at least five (05) years of experience managing disaster, climate change, or governance projects at the district level in the nonprofit sector. Those with experience in leading community-based climate vulnerability and risk assessments, formulating climate adaptation and resilience action plans, and executing community-centered solutions with local government entities will be preferred.
