Clinical Therapist

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Clinical Therapist will perform responsible and complex professional

casework. This role involves providing intensive therapy for individuals with complex social problems,

creating treatment plans, conducting assessments, and offering a range of social work functions such as

counseling and case evaluation. The therapist will also provide referrals to appropriate community

services and maintain accurate records in compliance with organization, state, and federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Screen, assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for clients

- Conduct therapeutic interventions and psychological testing as needed

- Interpret assessments, medical records, and ensure clients understand treatment plans

- Formulate measurable goals and objectives based on client needs

- Participate in treatment team conferences and collaborate with other professionals, family members,

and referral sources

- Research and locate appropriate help outlets for clients, including in-house and external referrals

- Coordinate services as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow up to ensure program compliance

- Document all services in accordance with the agency’s quality assurance plan

- Maintain confidentiality and client privacy in accordance with agency policies and HIPAA regulations

- Stay current in psychosocial rehabilitation and therapeutic intervention techniques

- Conduct group therapy sessions and supervise interns, if fully licensed

- Translate and interpret information for non-English speaking clients as needed


- Master’s Degree

- Relevant License (Limited or Full)

- Limited License: LLPC, LLMSW, LLP

- Full License: LPC, LMSW, LP

Experience & Salary:

- Limited License:

- <1 Year of experience: $58,000

- >1 Year of experience: $60,000

- Full License: $70,000

Preferred Profiles:

1. Therapist with Child Therapy experience with CAFAS + Relevant License

2. Therapist with Drug/Addiction experience with MCBAP Certification + Relevant License

3. Therapist with Mental Health/Wellness experience + Relevant License

4. Therapist with interest in Child, Drug/Addiction, or Mental Health + Relevant License without
