JOB TITLE: Sales Associate

LOCATION: Lagos and Abuja

WORK MODE: Full-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a reputable small to medium enterprise, is urgently seeking to hire a Sales Associate who is passionate about sales. The Sales Associate will be responsible for driving sales in our retail environment by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products or services. The role also involves assisting in maintaining inventory, processing transactions, and ensuring the store is well-organized and appealing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.

• Handle customer complaints and provide solutions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

• Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customer needs.

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services and be able to explain features and benefits to customers.

• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and quotas.

• Liaise with clients in all areas of sales, including but not limited to product information, special discounts, new products, and company services.

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve store targets.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.

• Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure a cohesive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of an OND in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

• Prior experience in retail or sales is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in using sales software and point-of-sale systems.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
