Career1 Recruitment Agency is currently seeking a Mixer Lead Hand for our esteemed bakery client in Mississauga. As a Mixer Lead Hand, you will oversee the preparation of mixes for cakes, pies, fillings, and other baked goods, ensuring adherence to company recipes and standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining workstation hygiene, providing on-the-job training, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Pre-requisite Qualifications:
Minimum 2years of bakery experience
Fluent in oral and written English
Knowledge of bakery equipment and recipes
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Intermediate computer and mathematical skills
Ability to lift up to 19KG and work in varying temperature environments
Training in Health & Safety, GMP’s, HACCP
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of workstations
Prepare quality products according to recipes and specifications
Complete accurate daily production reports
Provide on-the-job training to workstation teams
Mix ingredients together and manage team accordingly
Complete all paper work required
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Working Conditions:
Standing for long periods in varying temperature settings
Standards of Performance:
Attendance, punctuality, and personal hygiene
Effective mentoring and coaching of team members
Compliance with training and regulations
