Accounts Receivables & Cash Payments Clerk – Memphis TN area

Pay up to $22-23 / HR + Benefits in the Memphis, TN Area

Looking to fill this critical position of Accounts Receivables & Cash Payments Clerk for a service company. This position will focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of Accounts Receivables. The outline of this position includes managing credits and collections applications to accounts, posting daily collections from the mail, lockbox, and credit cards

To be successful in this position, you will need a positive customer service mindset as you engage with our clients resolving billing issues, approving credits and ensuring the accounts are correct. You’ll also collaborate with clients to obtain payment when needed. Working with the sales, repairs, and operations team, you’ll verify products & services delivered to the client. Internally, you’ll manage the cash application process in a timely and accurate manner. For management, you’ll provide reports of customer account status, balances, and collections, identifying potential issues.

You’ll need to be detail oriented, excellent at managing your time, and able to be courteously firm in challenging situations with customers. You’ll be supported by an excellent accounting department and management team.

Minimum requirements for this Accounts Receivables & Cash Payments Clerk position:

• At least 3 years’ experience in managing Accounts Receivables and Collections

• At least a high school diploma or GED

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
