SAP BASIS CONSULTANT

Roles & Responsibility:

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in SAP BASIS/Netweaver/ABAP Application Server

Administration and configurations.

Knowledge on any SAP New Dimension products like BW, Portal,CRM, SRM, CPI/IS or Solution

Manager.

Good experience as DBA on HANA, Sybase and Maxdb.

Experience in Migrations, Technical Upgrades and DB upgrades.

Experience in activities like Refresh/Client copy, Kernel upgrades and Patching.

Good experience in support of Archiving from Basis point of view.

Working with change tools to maintain client SLAs

Manage the team to get the assigned task done on time adhering the SLA.

Align with different stakeholders to discuss the progress of multiple tasks.

Able to solve and coordinate RCA and support during critical system behaviour.

Audit Experience.

Detailed Technical experience in SAP BASIS and HANA systems administrations.

Experience in setting up System Replications, High Availability and Disaster recovery.

Possess leadership qualities.

Proven track record of Client handling.

Coach others recognize their strengths and encourage them to take ownership of their personal

development.

Ready to learn new technologies.

Should be ready to manage and work with team handling 24*7 shifts.

Candidate must have good communicative skills.

Relevant SAP Certification would be a plus.

Solution Manager Configuration knowledge and CPI/IS knowledge is a big plus

Manage and Support SAP Technical Infrastructure components that run on ABAP and/or JAVA

stacks

Responsible for Performance Tuning/Installations/Documentation/Upgrades/Monitoring of SAP

Application/ Net weaver Suite of products

Capacity planning activities to track database growth, participates in sizing and SAP archiving

activities

Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts required for monitoring alerts and process automation.
