CNC Machine Operator

Precision Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join a key client on their 2nd shift team in the Aerospace & Gas Turbine industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machinery and fabricating parts to precise specifications.

Responsibilities of CNC Operator:

Operate CNC lathe, mill or grinding machines

Analyze and interpret operational sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products meeting customer specifications.

Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools.

Maintain knowledge of CNC principles, G and M codes, and rotary/linear axes.

Select, align, and secure fixtures, tooling, and workpieces on machines as needed.

Interpret CMM reports and adjust machine dimensions accordingly.

Perform deburring operations within specified tolerances.

Operate overhead cranes when necessary.

Use heat shrink machines to set tools.

Requirements for CNC Operator:

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum 1 year experience operating CNC Machines (Lathe, Mill, or Grinder)

Ability to perform basic math functions

Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills

Must be a United States Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident
