EDM Operator - 2nd Shift

Precision Staffing is seeking an experienced EDM Operator for a key client in the Aerospace & Gas Turbine industry. This is a 2nd shift position that will be in the Mason, OH area.

Responsibilities for EDM Operator:

Analyze and interpret operation sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.

Operate multiple EDM machines as needed.

Disassemble, clean, and rebuild tooling after production runs.

Utilize knowledge of rotary/linear axes and G and M codes.

Verify conformance of finished workpieces using precision measuring tools such as pin gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and borescopes.

Perform basic arithmetic with decimals.

Document actions by updating control charts, travelers, and reporting labor in the ERP system.

Requirements for EDM Operator:

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in operation, machining, or manufacturing required.

Ability to perform high school-level math.

Must be a United States Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident.

Regularly lift, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds.

Routinely reach, twist, bend, and grasp to move and set tools, equipment, and materials.
