BETAH Associates is a professional services firm seeking a Digital Content Creator/Manager, who will be responsible for creating and managing the production, distribution, and maintenance of digital content across multiple platforms and formats.

Content Management:

Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of web and online content for the federal health agency.

Ensure all content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligns with the agencys goals and standards.

Manage content updates and revisions efficiently using content management systems (CMS).

Digital Writing and Editing:

Write, edit, and proofread web content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to the agency's style guide.

Develop engaging and informative digital content that effectively communicates health-related messages to diverse audiences.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Content Strategy Development:

Assist in the development and implementation of content strategies to enhance the agencys online presence.

Analyze audience needs and preferences to create targeted content that meets user expectations.

Track and evaluate the effectiveness of content strategies, making adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.

Graphic Design:

Create visually appealing graphics and multimedia elements to complement written content.

Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design tools to produce high-quality visuals for the web.

Ensure all graphics meet accessibility standards and are optimized for web use.

Website Management:

Coordinate with IT and web development teams to ensure website functionality and performance.

Monitor website analytics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Ensure the website is user-friendly and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with internal teams, including communications, marketing, and health professionals, to develop and manage content.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members to ensure project alignment and timely delivery of content.

Participate in regular meetings to discuss content priorities, progress, and upcoming projects.

Training and Support:

Provide training and support to staff on using the content management system and best practices for digital content creation.

Develop and maintain documentation and guidelines for content management processes and procedures.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular reviews of web content to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to agency guidelines.

Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards for all digital content.

Address and resolve any content-related issues promptly.

SEO and Analytics:

Optimize web content for search engines to improve visibility and reach.

Utilize web analytics tools to monitor traffic, user engagement, and other key performance indicators.

Generate reports on website performance and provide insights for content improvement.

Compliance and Accessibility:

Ensure all web content complies with federal regulations and standards, including Section 508 for accessibility.

Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements for web content and digital communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or a related field.

5-7 years of experience managing web and online content.

Proficiency in content management systems and graphic design tools.

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong background in web and digital writing.
