We invite applications for the Continuing Airworthiness Manager position, for Bristow Ireland (BIL).

We are seeking individuals with experience, energy and motivation who will work positively to impact our business and be able to adapt to changes in the workplace and be committed to the successful transition of this contract and safe delivery of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Management and supervision of CAMO personnel ensuring that all work is properly planned and managed;

Ensuring the IAA is informed, and grants prior approval where required, of changes to the Bristow Ireland CAMO and/or the Company’s continuing airworthiness obligations;

Supporting the Compliance & Safety Manager as required, including CAMO inputs to the management system and management of risks associated with continuing airworthiness;

Representing the CAMO at internal and external meetings, including safety meetings, audits and industry working groups;

Using a root cause approach, establishment and implementation of containment, corrective and preventative actions required because of safety reports and audit findings with impact on continuing airworthiness management;

Ensuring that all maintenance on Company aircraft is carried out by a Part 145 approved maintenance organisation or other appropriately approved maintenance organisation;

Ensuring that the CAMO meets its obligations for any work subcontracted to it and ensuring proper management and control of work subcontracted by the CAMO to other organisations;

Establishment and development of continuing airworthiness policy, including approving amendments to this continuing airworthiness management exposition and associated procedures.

Approval of Company aircraft maintenance programmes;

Ensuring adequate monitoring of the effectiveness of the maintenance programme;

Establishment and development of an aircraft technical log system;

Ensuring that all necessary continuing airworthiness records are kept for each Company aircraft;

Ensuring modifications and repairs (changes) to Company aircraft are carried out to an approved standard;

Ensuring compliance with airworthiness directives and other mandatory requirements;

Ensuring that all aircraft defects are appropriately rectified or deferred;

Ensuring that each Company aircraft is operated with all required airworthiness certificates and permits;

Ensuring that the Certificate of Airworthiness for each helicopter operated by the Company remains valid in respect of the airworthiness of the helicopter and the continued validity of the airworthiness review certificate;

Ensuring that all CAMO personnel are competent for the work performed.

Delivery of a programme of continuation training for CAMO staff;

Ensuring that the Company has sufficient workforce resources to fulfil its continuing airworthiness obligations;

Ensuring that the CAMO retains adequate records;

Managing the continuing airworthiness aspects of incidents involving Company aircraft;

Without prejudice to the need for high safety standards, ensuring that all policy and processes carried out by the CAMO are efficient and align with Bristow Group Standards

Qualifications:

Multi Licensed engineer B1 or B2 with extensive maintenance and airworthiness knowledge;

Engineering or Management Degree qualified preferable;

Must Meet the Requirements of Part CAMO.A.305.

Experience:

In depth knowledge of aircraft types operated by company;

Knowledge of regulatory requirements;

Experience with regulatory framework of both Part CAMO and Part 145; Knowledge and understanding of other regional regulatory frameworks

SAP/IFS experience;

Must Meet the Requirements of Part CAMO.A.305.

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Strong organisational skills;

Attention to detail;

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;

Ability to plan and prioritise work both individually and team;

Awareness of need for integrity;

Excellent negotiating and influencing skills;

Ability to identify and constructively address interpersonal conflict, disagreements or confrontations and facilitates communication between involved parties to minimise personal impact;

Ability to assign tasks and responsibilities to others in a fair and consistent manner; provides clear instruction and direction;

Ability to articulate, summarise and present information clearly to audiences with different backgrounds and at different levels of the organisation;

Ability to prioritise workload;

Ability to interface well with leadership, management and internal and external clients;

Ability to promote tolerance and inclusion among diverse groups and recognition of multiple views;

Ability to manage resources effectively.
