Position: Electrical Engineering Technician

9/80 Work Schedule (every other Friday off)

Responsibilities:

Collaborate in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Work closely with hardware and software engineers on new and existing development programs for portable software-defined radio products.

Perform technician functions including basic debugging, assembly, and testing of circuit boards, cables, radios, batteries, and accessories.

Provide engineering lab support, including parts ordering, material stocking, equipment calibration, assignment, and general lab maintenance.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

High school diploma or equivalent required; ASEE or equivalent experience is a plus.

7-12 years of experience as an Engineering Technician.

Knowledge of RF, Analog, and Digital Design fundamentals is desirable.

Ability to read and understand circuit card documentation, including schematics, drawings, and bills of materials.

Experience in removing and soldering surface mount components.

Experience with prototyping is a plus.

Working knowledge of engineering lab test equipment and test methods for electronic product and radio development.

Ability to run computer-controlled test programs using LabView, automated scripts, and Keysight VEE (HP VEE).

Ability to perform verification and validation testing in accordance with test plans; capable of generating and updating test plans and reports.
