Holiday : Canadian Holidays + Selected National Holidays

Salary : $3,000 - $4,000 USD per month

Overview of the Position:

As a Web Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our current website and developing new ones. You'll utilize your expertise in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and other platforms to enhance user engagement and optimize search engine visibility. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with design teams, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Be responsible for maintaining Midnight Building's current website

Develop and maintain new websites in WordPress, HTML, CSS and other comparable platforms to maximize user engagement and search engine optimization (SEO).

Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of projects and be accountable for project schedules.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to website functionality, site performance, and user experience.

Collaborate with creative design and production teams to generate new website features that support the team's mission.

Write and maintain code in a highly organized and modular manner.

Conduct preliminary testing of development work and provide feedback to designers.

Stay up to date on relevant technologies and make recommendations for continuous enhancements of company web-based products.

Assisting in content creation.

Monitoring website traffic, assisting with web audits, and making adjustments.

Assist with expanding and scaling a new website for Midnight Group

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of proven experience in web development function.

Extensive knowledge of WordPress, HTML, jQuery, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and/or Python

Familiarity with JavaScript for UI/UX design.

Experience in implementing web development workflows and operations using a variety of tools (e.g., Git/GitHub, REST APIs, JSON, and AJAX).

Familiar with integrating CRM platforms to the website (ex. Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)

Creative thinker and quick learner.

Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools

Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines

Ability to function as a team member and work collaboratively with other departments.
