Commercial Litigation Associate

Responsibilities:

Handle a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, employment disputes, and other commercial litigation cases.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials as required.

Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.

Collaborate effectively with partners, senior associates, and clients to provide high-quality legal representation.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Virginia.

A minimum of 2 years of solid experience in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm or relevant legal setting.

Strong understanding of civil procedure, legal research, and excellent legal writing skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle cases independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and providing excellent client service.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
