Location: Townsville, Queensland

Salary Range: Educators & Senior Educators – ranging from $65,835 - $73,150 + Superannuation

(Dependant on qualifications and experience)

Your Impact!

As an Educator or Senior Educator, you will be a team player, collaborating with your peers within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

Educator key responsibilities:

Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.

Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to support the Senior Educator/Teacher in the delivery of high-quality education program and practice in the room.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.

Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the Centre team.

Senior Educator key responsibilities:

Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.

Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program.

Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education program and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.

Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements.

Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.

You’ll need:

Educator – Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Senior Educator – Diploma of Early Childhood Education.

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.

Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
