Accounting Manager (Accounting/Auditing Firm)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or any equivalent.

Licensed CPA is not required.

Has experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and taxation.

Self-driven, diligent smart, flexible and easily adapt to different working environment.

Must have high sense of professional ethics.

Strong-leadership skills.

Proven ability to work to strict deadlines

Amenable to work in San Juan.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a well-documented accounting policies and procedures.

Oversee the operations of the Accounting Department for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

Oversee the accounting transactions-processing operations, and policies and procedures.

Ensure that periodic bank reconciliation are complete.

Maintain the chart of accounts

Issue timely and complete financial statements.

Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.

Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts.

Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.

Provide for a system of management cost reports.

Coordinate the provision of information to auditors for the annual audit.

Comply government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Collect and update payables.

Update and monitor monthly store finances.

Other tasks may be given by boards of directors or immediate superior.
