As a Lead Geotech Engineer, you will be responsible for the Geotechnical engineering aspects of subsea and pipeline foundations and structures by defining design requirements and developing design solutions incorporating relevant and applicable government regulations and industrial codes and practices in order to satisfy company requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in the development and delivery of deep-water subsea foundations, structures, and pipeline support solutions within the Oil & Gas Industry.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Lead Geotech Engineer to join our team.

The role responsibilities include:

Responsible for the Geotechnical engineering aspects of subsea and pipeline foundations and structures by defining design requirements and developing design solutions incorporating relevant and applicable government regulations and industrial codes and practices in order to satisfy COMPANY requirements.

What you’ll have

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering related field, and ideally be professionally registered or chartered as an engineer.

Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in the development and delivery of deep-water subsea foundations, structures, and pipeline support solutions within the Oil & Gas Industry.

Working experience involved with geo hazard assessment and scopes required for subsea foundations. Working experience assessing and correlating geotechnical information to provide input on subsea and pipeline architecture.

Ability to recommend appropriate return periods for design events and having experience with common geotechnical failure modes. Working experience defining appropriate foundation concepts, axial and lateral pile capacities under cyclic loading, and understanding of foundation and pile installation and integrity issues. Working experience assessing foundation and pipe behavior for various soil conditions.

Have experienced working experience with Pipeline trenching and Horizontal Directional Drilling is also required.

Have knowledge of the relevant Industry codes and standards on design is required.

Demonstrate capability in Pre-FEED, FEED and/or EPCI by listing up the experienced project names and Project Phases of Pre-FEED, FEED and EPCI.
