We are seeking a full stack Software Engineer to enhance the usability and functionality of existing applications and to develop new products.

Working independently and as a member of a small team, you will work on numerous projects, so you must be able to work fast and keep up with a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include: Design, develop and provide technical documentation for web applications and the management, fulfillment, and reporting of back-end processes Work with web frameworks, web services, and other web technologies to create user friendly web interfaces Develop and integrate internal/external software systems to streamline data and work flow Update and support existing internally developed applications Provide input on research projects and proposals Design and implement supporting projects related to research projects and proposals Position Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline 3.3+ GPA US Citizenship Required Proficiency in Java, Python or C++, and object-oriented design skills (2+ years) Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Linux, Unix, or Solaris Preference for candidates with experience in JQuery, Tomcat, SQL, AJAX, SVN, Eclipse, Maven, C#, PHP, Python, .NET, iOS/Android Development Mainstream Engineering Corporation is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
