Day-to-Day Duties May Include:

Executing test protocols for clinically-based surgical simulation and automated testing utilizing Ion Endoluminal robots and other test equipment.

Identifying and reporting problems that arise during testing, and escalating new or persistent failure modes to appropriate engineering teams.

Providing input on process and fixture improvement throughout test development and execution.

Providing documentation to the cognizant Test Engineer that clearly indicates the results of product testing.

Following GDP (Good Documentation Process) when filling out test data sheets.

Performing instrument, endoscope and accessory cleaning and reprocessing.

Supporting test engineers to design test fixtures and other test aids needed to perform Design Verification and Life/Reliability tests.

Ensuring successful, on-time completion of department projects; communicating constraints to direct management when successful project completion is at risk.

Performing a broad variety of tasks in support of product verification and test process design as assigned by department management.

Complying with company Department and Standard Operating Procedures.

Working with Lab Manager to ensure adequate supply of test articles and other equipment or material.

Assembling electromechanical test equipment per bill of materials. Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, along with experience working in a hardware production or test environment.

Relevant experience in a medical device company.

Experience with Matlab, Python, Solidworks, or other CAD software.

Experience using Instron, Force Gauge, Calipers, Microscope.

Ability to read, write and understand English.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to work varying shifts.

Ability to use basic tools and measuring equipment.

Ability to work with biological samples, including blood, tissue and organs.
