Your role
Are you a dynamic, sales-oriented, self-motivated trader with strong risk management skills and trading-floor presence? We are looking for an Equity Facilitation Trader to:
• Maintain, develop and originate cash equity client relationships through capital commitment, portfolio risk trades and event/proactive initiatives.
• Lead the trading floor colour with market developments and trading opportunities
• Work closely with sales trading teams to generate ideas, revenue and grow key client business.
• Self-motivated to facilitate client order flow by proactive and reactive client offerings.
• Manage inventory with strong risk discipline, adhering to regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies.
• Manage trading / execution, operational and compliance risk amongst others.

Your team
You’ll be joining a growing global markets franchise, specifically working in the trading team in Tokyo. We trade a range of products across the APAC markets, and provide advice, solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. This benefits our corporate, institutional and wealth management clients. Our ambition is to represent the majority of equities’ market making and facilitation activity and to create a point of internalization for all risk deltas across Global Markets. As a trader, you’ll play an important role in helping our clients identify and access the products and liquidity they need.
Your expertise
• minimum of 5 years experience of risk management/trading
• ability to price and trade own book of inventory
• experience in Trader Cost Analysis for pricing single stocks and portfolio's
• ability to communicate with clients, experience in managing relationships with real money accounts
• good understanding of equity, derivatives, repo markets, ability to explain and visualize current themes and events with common tools and market information services
• ability to communicate trading ideas clearly, providing rationale
• a bachelor's or higher degree in applicable fields
