Our client requires ambitious and reliable mariners to further enhance our marine operations team.

The role entails a mix of time in the office, at site and offshore working on regional oil & gas and renewable energy projects.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will engage in a variety of technical and procedural reviews, marine study reports, and site attendances for marine and offshore projects.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing the transportation and installation of offshore structures, conducting vessel and site inspections, supervising marine operations, acting as a Marine Warranty Surveyor or client representative during offshore installations, and performing risk analyses.

Additionally, you will conduct vessel surveys, provide marine support to clients, review and generate technical reports and procedures, attend MWS operations, participate in risk assessments, support project management, and assist in business development activities.

Requirements: The ideal candidate for the Master Mariner/Marine Surveyor role should possess extensive experience in marine operations, demonstrated by the ability to produce high-quality technical reports.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, with onshore marine management experience being advantageous.

Strong communication skills, particularly in technical reporting, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are crucial.

Experience as a Marine Warranty Surveyor with a reputable organization and familiarity with OCIMF/OVID/e-CMID inspections are preferred.

The candidate should ideally hold a Master Mariner certification (STCW Class 1), have over ten years of command experience in the offshore oil, gas, or renewable energy industries, and possess expertise in anchor handling, rig moving, pipelay, and subsea installation.
