An innovative company specializing in Drag Reducing Agents (DRA) is looking for a Field Equipment Technician to support the Operations team with routine maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of operations and equipment maintenance, coupled with strong mechanical aptitude. As a collaborative team member, the successful candidate will play a vital role in meeting operational goals by ensuring optimal equipment performance while prioritizing cost-effectiveness, environmental sustainability, and enhanced safety.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

$70,000-$90,000 + Per Diem

Location: Houston, TX

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

Maintain high levels of HSE standards during Operation and maintenance work.

Provide hands-on operational support to ensure proper skid operation in a timely manner.

Work with the Operations team and customer technicians to assist with installations and commissioning of DRA skids as needed.

Perform preventive maintenance and quality repair work to increase the operational efficiency of the equipment.

Troubleshoot equipment errors via thorough inspection and testing methods.

Assemble, install, maintain piping systems and related electrical, instrumentation and hydraulic equipment. Repair and replace motors, sensors, gauges, etc., as needed.

Provide electro-mechanical root-cause analysis troubleshooting.

Be proactive and have a strong team mindset.

Requirements:

Associate degree (preferred) or high school diploma/GED with 5 years of additional work experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and prior work experience operating Oil & Gas equipment (chemical injection equipment preferred)

3+ years of relevant work experience in operations and equipment maintenance

Basic knowledge of troubleshooting low voltage, single-phase, and three-phase equipment up to 480V

Ability to read and understand technical schematics and P&ID drawings

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create innovative solutions

Flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts based on operational needs

Physically fit, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Successful candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and pass a standard drug test and background check

Must be available for up to 60% domestic travel and 10% international travel as needed
