Main Duties, Operational Tasks, Responsibilities :
Tasks :
Development of traction battery components: taking part in and steering project development activities: sizing, validation, technical advice, etc.
Dismantling pack Benchmark & analyses
Regulatory Domain R086: declination of battery safety regulations R100.02, R100.03, KMVSS, GB/GBT, ADR (transportation regulations). Implementation of new battery regulations and associated processes (battery passport, performance and durability, labelling, BMS access, etc.).
Deliverables :
Breakdown of Regulatory Requirements
Declination of the Regulatory Requirements: update in DOORS
Declination of Regulatory Requirements: weekly steering reports on action plans, including audit follow-up
Pre-validation of plans for the R086 traction battery regulatory area: verification of deviations from the previous version, the standard plan and the approval file
Creation / Update of standard plans
Re-reading of standards within the battery perimeter to ensure regulatory compliance
Drafting of regulatory test procedures and test request templates
Monitoring the planning of regulatory tests perimeter safety battery
Preparing deliverables for the approval file
Qualification Requirements :
Engineering degree (MSc, MEng or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, electromechanics or related field. (graduate of a university of technology or university of applied sciences)
Profile with at least 4 years in battery systems
Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
Outstanding teamwork skills and a high degree of commitment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly developed quality awareness with strong attention to details and problem-solving skills
Highly self-organized and self-responsible with ability to work in a team
Ability to work in multiple projects at the same time
Preferable is knowledge in the automotive industry
