Our client in Mississauga is a large, publicly traded, global leader in sustainable construction. They are in search of a Sr. Income Tax Analyst to join their team ever-growing team and company. You will be part of their North American tax team of 10 others and work closely with the Income Tax Manager, with a primary focus on completing Canadian Tax provisions and returns.
Please note: this position requires you to be in Ontario and in the local area, as this is an hybrid position.

Responsibilities:
Ensure all legislative compliance and management reporting requirements are met
Prepare and analyze quarterly and year-end Canadian consolidated tax provisions, tax returns and provide tax information for financial statement reporting
When necessary, review companyâ s subsidiaries tax returns
Support the Income Tax Manager in carrying out R&D claims and retaining existing documents for transfer pricing transactions
Support Income Tax Manager in answering tax inquiries from tax authorities and external auditors
Maintain documents to support tax positions, assessments and audit information
Support internal and external audit reporting requirements
Work cross-functionally to create process improvements
Contribute towards the tax teamâ s KPIs
Qualifications:
CPA preferred
Completion of, or enrolled in CPA In-depth Tax course
Canadian Corporate/Income Tax experience - Specifically T2
Transfer Pricing experience preferred
Publicly traded company experience; IFRS, GAAP
