CAD Drafter

Title: CAD Drafter/Designer

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $65K-$75K/yr. based on experience

Looking for an AutoCAD Drafter/ Designer for a laboratory equipment supplier in Chicago, IL. They're looking to bring on someone who 2+ years of experience drafting in AutoCAD. This is a great opportunity to work with a company who loves to promote from within and has a great culture.

Job Duties:

Support engineering team to design new products and make improvements to existing products.

Using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, update existing and create new drawings and models of products and components.

Assist with creating prototypes and 3D models, product testing and validation.

Support the engineering change process by creating engineering change orders, maintaining drawing files, and updating bills of material.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelorâ s degree in an engineering curriculum or equivalent experience (education not required but preferred)

2+ years of related experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. (must have at least 2 years of CAD employment exp.)

Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office products.

Revit knowledge is a plus. Training will be provided for the right candidate as part of our development program.
