We are seeking a Process Control Specialist to join our Pharmacy Administration team. This is a Monday - Friday, day-shift position.

What You Can Expect

Regulatory Expertise: Stay updated with current legal requirements relevant to pharmacy compounding.

Compounding Compliance: Assist in managing all aspects of compounding compliance, including adherence to USP standards and local, state, and federal regulations.

System-wide Support: Help maintain system-wide compliance with compounding, drug waste management, and drug storage requirements. Assist sites in using advanced software to aid in compliance.

Vendor Management: Strategize on 503B purchases and ensure vendor compliance with legal standards.

Site Assessments: Conduct visits to acute care and ambulatory pharmacy sites to where sterile compounding occurs to perform assessments, including smoke studies and air impaction studies.

Coordination and Certification: Coordinate site visits by external vendors and oversee the certification of primary and secondary control environments.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or four (4) years' relevant experience in lieu of degree

Three (3) years' relevant experience

Preferred qualifications

Expertise in sterile and nonsterile compounding

Experience with Joint Commission compliance
