Senior Electrical CAD Designer

THE RIGHT STAFF, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical CAD Designer for one of the US's largest and most well-established engineering companies right here in Eden Prairie, MN. Ideal candidates will have experience preparing clear, accurate and complete documentation with attention to detail and within budget restraints. Candidates will also have experience in creating routine layouts, assembling drawings, diagrams & Schematics.

Essential Job Duties:

• Expert-level understanding of concepts related to electrical engineering (NFPA, UL 508, Etc.)

• Expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD electrical & AutoCAD (Lisp, Visual Basic experience)

• Create detail drawings, assembly drawings, routine layouts, diagrams & schematics

• Attention to detail and the ability to communicate with other members of the team

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-year degree in computer aided Drafting/Design - required

• Drafting/Design experience in Electrical concepts along with terminology (Ladder, Loop and PID diagrams)

• 10+ Years experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical minimum

• 10+ years of drafting experience in electric field minimum

Schedule, Pay and Benefits:

• Pay is $100k/annually - DOE

• Onsite in Eden Prairie, MN

• Flexible hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
