Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST for a growing non-automotive client Detroit.

REQUIREMENTS of the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst role

Bachelor s degree in Accounting

3-5+ years of relevant Accounting Experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP

Public Company / SEC experience

CPA Designation

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Provides information to assist with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and accounting research related to financial statement presentation and disclosures

Assists with providing information to external auditors on emerging accounting issues and reporting matters

Provides accounting guidance on accounting related matters with supervision.

Research current and emerging accounting issues and implements related accounting policies and procedures

Assists with compliance with GAAP and regulatory accounting Prepares accounting analysis and whitepapers with supervision

Assists with analysis of business transactions and proposal of accounting treatment.

Compile s information to assist with the preparation of external financial reports in compliance with SEC and other regulatory reporting requirements

Other duties and projects as assigned by management
