Hiring a Hotel Managing Supervisor
Qualification:
- Completion of high school is required. Completion of relevant college diploma is an asset.
- Experience working in a supervisory occupation is required.
- Proficient in English is required.
- Proficiency in computer systems, equipment is an asset.
Main duties:
- Coordinate, assign and review the work of hotel and other clerks and housekeepers,
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with owner,
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare reports to owner,
- Assist owner when hiring and training staff in job duties and safety procedures,
- Requisition supplies and materials,
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work,
- Perform some clerks and housekeepers’ duties when necessary.
Wage & Benefits:
$27.00 per hour, 6% vacation pay of gross salary or 15 days paid vacation
Working hours:
35 hours per week (permanent & full-time position)
