Junior Welder

Hiring a Junior Welder for a full-time (40 hours per week) position at oursnowplow and sand/salt spreader manufacturing business in London, ON.

Job duties and responsibilities of a Junior Welder include:

- Read blueprints and drawings, take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.

- Determine appropriate welding equipment or method.

- Set up components for welding according to specifications.

- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

- Align components using calipers, rulers and clamp pieces.

- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.

- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures.

- Maintain equipment in condition that does not compromise safety.

Salary: $26 per hour
