Position: Warehouse Clerk

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays required

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in maintaining inventory, fulfilling requisitions, and supporting the overall operation of the warehouse. We are investing in comprehensive training, so we are looking for a candidate seeking a long-term role, rather than someone looking for a short-term position.

Key Responsibilities:

Fulfill requisitions for ingredients and packaging materials.

Rotate raw material inventory in dry storage, freezer, and cooler areas using FIFO practices.

Maintain accurate lot tracking of all raw materials and packaging received.

Assist with weekly recipe lot tracking audits for the Quality Assurance department.

Perform daily stock level checks and prepare monthly inventory reports.

Receive and process incoming deliveries as needed.

Support the warehouse team with receiving and organizing packaging inventory.

Qualifications:

Fluent in oral and written English.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous warehouse experience, especially in food/ingredient handling, is an asset.

Attention to detail with basic mathematical and computer skills.

Forklift certification and familiarity with health and safety guidelines (GMP, HACCP) are considered an asset.

Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

Physical work, including bending, lifting, squatting, and exposure to varying temperatures (heat and freezer conditions).

Overtime or Saturday work may be required depending on operational needs.
