ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a sales-driven and adaptable individual for an entry-level Sales Distribution Specialist role. The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge of insurance products and annuities, along with exceptional interpersonal skills and coachability. In this role, they will provide sales support and product expertise to marketers and agents, leveraging their understanding of annuities and insurance company offerings to foster strong business relationships and drive growth.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Develop distribution relationships with marketing partners or agents
Conduct agent trainings virtually or in person
Gathering of industry or product competitive intelligence
Provide agent education of company processes, procedures, or compliance guidelines
Collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams on ways to promote our product portfolio
Weekly follow-up to calls with assigned accounts/marketers/agents
Assist agents and distribution partners with service related requests
Assist in tracking or promotion of agent contests
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
College degree preferred but not required
3+ years of sales and marketing related experience of insurance products, preferably annuities
Excellent customer service skills
Coachable/open to feedback
Desire to be part of a corporate setting with opportunities for career growth

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 40 hours weekly, or as otherwise arranged with the manager of the department.
