Senior Software Engineer

This is a U.S. based position. All of the programs we support require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment. All work must be conducted within the continental U.S.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be diving deeper into the software lifecycle, taking on more complex tasks and leading smaller project initiatives. You will not only write code but also be involved in design discussions, code reviews, and mentoring Associate and Standard Engineers, helping to maintain the high standards of our organization.

What we are looking for:

4-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience

Proficiency with ReactJS

Experience building geospatial maps / libraries on the front end

Experience creating robust web-socket and RESTFul APIs

Experience creating prototypes from plain text requirements and mockups

Proficiency with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes

Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics

Ability to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft

Highly preferred:

Experience working with a K8s-based development workflow

Experience building a SQL front-end GUI

Blended skillset of engineering front-end solutions that both look visually pleasing and are modular for ease of maintenance

Portfolio (URL) that shows products built and shipped

Clearance Requirements:

Active Secret clearance

May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $200,000

The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
