Leading manufacturing facility in San Jose is now hiring Associates for their quality assurance team.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Pay Rate: $21-23/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm; Saturdays & Overtime as needed

A typical day as a Quality Inspector might include:

Use inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, and thread gauges

Perform dimensional inspections twice per shift or as required by the customer and log the data in the electronic Quality Plans.

Stamp and tag approved finished products for shipment.

Inspect outgoing shipments against inspection criteria for conformance as needed.

Maintain good housekeeping practices in all area in which work is performed.

Requirements of a Quality Inspector:

Extensive knowledge on how to use inspection tools: calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, and thread gauges

Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English

Ability to work overtime, including weekends

1-3 years of manufacturing experience
