Sales Manager Position Summary-

The Sales Manager positively impacts customer growth, revenue and ensures store credit is maintained at an appropriate level through sales activities and account management while providing total customer satisfaction. This role helps manage profit by following established policies and procedures including, but not limited to, cash and inventory controls and order verifications

Requirements / Responsibilities:

Sales and Leadership-

Be responsible for Customer and Revenue growth/maintenance

Assist Store Manager with training and providing oversight

Obtain new rental orders on the sales floor and over the phone

Complete rental agreements as required

Assign coworkers to specific duties and assist with work schedule assignments

Prospect for new business by telemarketing and distributing print materials

Assist in managing daily operations when necessary

Account Management-

Maintain accurate records of customer account activity, including current and past due accounts

Review past due accounts and communicate in-person and via phone with the customers to promote timely payments

Complete customer service calls in a timely manner as assigned

Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to all standards

Deliveries and Pickups-

Assist as needed in loading/unloading truck, or other vehicle, per policy to safely protect coworkers, customers, and merchandise

Assist as needed in delivering merchandise in Company provided vehicle to customer homes

Assist as needed in installing and setting up merchandise, and instructing customers on the proper use

Assist as needed in picking up merchandise from customer homes

Follow Company policies and practices regarding safe driving and adhere to local and state laws regarding safe operation of a motor vehicle

Required Education and Experience-

Must be at least 19 years of age

High school diploma or GED

Stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 100lbs, with assistance if needed

1 – 3 years of retail/customer service, sales, or collections experience

Valid driver’s license and good driving record
