G2 Secure Staff is expanding and looking to add Bag Runners to our operations in (Dallas -Fort Worth International Airport) (DFW)

Title: Cargo Service Agent

Pay Rate: $ 15.00

Job Type: Customer Service

We are seeking a driven, dynamic, and detail-focused Cargo Agent to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience working in the cargo and shipping industry. The focus of the role will be to ensure smooth transit of cargo within the airline network, ensuring that all proper checks and documents are in place. Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).

What does a Cargo Service Agent do?

Ensure the on-time collection and delivery of shipments.

Ensure that shipments are scanned at relevant destination points to ensure proper tracking.

Ensure that all relevant paperwork for each shipment is completed and attached where required.

Prepare international shipments for customs by ensuring proper tariffs are completed and attached.

Decide on shipping methods and routes for cargo.

Advise clients regarding payment options for cargo and assist with cargo booking inquiries.

Prepare all required bills for landing and any other documents as required.

Record cargo information such as size, weight, and dimensions.

Assist with the tracking of lost or missing shipments.

Estimate and negotiate shipping rates or postal rates with clients and suppliers.

What skills are required to Join the Team?

Must be 18 years or older.

Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check.

Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history.

Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation.

Language Skills:

· Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.

· Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public.

· Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.
